The Role of Raw Materials
From Mold to Finished Fitting
Fittings are produced by injection molding. Once the molten PE is pressed into the mold and cooled, the pipe fitting takes shape. However, the process doesn’t stop there. After demolding, you’ll notice small burrs or rough edges. At Welping, these are carefully trimmed by hand to ensure every pipe fitting is smooth, round, and ready for reliable installation.
Recycled Material: The Hidden Risk
During trimming, the burrs and scraps can be recycled. Technically, they can be reprocessed into new pipe fittings. But here’s the catch: once recycled material is mixed in, the quality drops. With too much recycled content, pipe fittings may look fine at first, but after only two or three years, leaks and failures can appear. That’s why at Welping, we strictly control the use of virgin material to guarantee long service life.
For us, quality starts at the very beginning — the raw material. By combining high-grade imported resin, proper UV protection, and strict manufacturing standards, Welping ensures that every pipe fitting delivers strength, durability, and reliability. Because when it comes to your pipeline, every connection matters.
